As new Sparrow Records pop/rock band Luminate prepares for the March 23 release of its self-titled debut album, the Texas act has the support of country music star and actor Billy Ray Cyrus (Hannah Montana). Luminate front man Sam Hancock recently co-wrote a song with Cyrus for a Hallmark Channel movie (Christmas in Canaan) and also played guitar with him for American troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.
“Sam’s heart, soul, and spirituality touched everyone he came in contact with,” says Cyrus. “Luminate. Write it down. Get to know them now before it happens … They’re gonna be huge!”
