Luminate, the buzz-worthy pop/rock Texas band signed to Sparrow Records, releases its self-titled debut EP on March 23. The anthemic set, featuring first single “Shine (Love Is an Action)” plus “Spirit of Love,” “My God,” “Miracle,” “Hear Our Cry,” and “Fearlessly,” was produced by Dove Award winner Ed Cash (Chris Tomlin, Third Day).
Actor and country music star Billy Ray Cyrus has already offered his endorsement: “Luminate. Write it down. Get to know them now before it happens … They’re gonna be huge!”

As new Sparrow Records pop/rock band Luminate prepares for the March 23 release of its self-titled debut album, the Texas act has the support of country music star and actor Billy Ray Cyrus (Hannah Montana). Luminate front man Sam Hancock recently co-wrote a song with Cyrus for a Hallmark Channel movie (Christmas in Canaan) and also played guitar with him for American troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.
“Sam’s heart, soul, and spirituality touched everyone he came in contact with,” says Cyrus. “Luminate. Write it down. Get to know them now before it happens … They’re gonna be huge!”
